One Meter Per Residence or Business
The Texas Administrative Code, addresses the one meter per dwelling or business,
“One meter is required for each residential, commercial,
or industrial service connection” [24.169 (a)(4)].
Multiple Connections to one meter are against State Regulations and District’s Service Policy. Violations against the District’s Service Policy will result in discontinuance of service.

“Se require un medidor para cada residencial,
conexion de servicio commercial o industrial” [24.169 (a)(4)].
Multiples conexiones a un medidor estan en contra de las regulaciones estatales y la ploitica de servicio del Distrito. Las violaciones contra la politica de servicio resultado en la interrupcion de service.

RVs and Travel Trailers
One meter policy:
Travel trailers and RVs are considered a dwelling.
“One meter is required for each residential, commercial,
or industrial service connection” [24.169 (a)(4)].
If a travel trailer or RV is moved onto your property where a dwelling already exists, you will need to contact the office. Having more than one dwelling on a property connected to the water may require a non-standard request / evaluation for an additional meter.
Cross connection and RVs/Travel Trailers:
Faucets that are connected to RVs and Travel Trailers are required to have hosebib vacuum breakers. These 2-way "Y" adapters are prohibited from being used with RVs and Travel Trailers.
"Tiny" houses
One meter policy:
"Tiny" houses are considered a dwelling.
“One meter is required for each residential, commercial,
or industrial service connection” [24.169 (a)(4)].
If a "Tiny" house is moved onto your property where a dwelling already exists, you will need to contact the office. Having more than one dwelling on a property connected to the water will require a non-standard request / evaluation for an additional meter.
